Entry procedures and required documents vary depending on the country from which the visitor comes. In most cases, a tourist visa can be obtained upon arrival. The Sultanate of Oman provides the advantage of exemption from the transit visa to about 103 countries around the world, while citizens of other countries that are not covered by the exemption must obtain a transit visa to enter the Sultanate of Oman.
